The Continental NyTechBreaker tire is an all-rounder that is ready to take on any challenge, even the biggest ones. With its proven racing tire contour, it offers responsive handling and secure grip, making it a reliable choice for various riding conditions.

Developed by Continental's Research and Development Department, the NyTechBreaker features a nylon fabric in the performance sector, which sets it apart from the brand's previous SafetySystem Breaker. This nylon fabric makes the tire resistant to punctures and cuts, similar to the strength of Kevlar-reinforced high-strength fibers, but with the added benefits of lower rolling resistance and reduced weight.

The NyTechBreaker sits between the SafetySystem and the PolyX Breaker, providing a more effective puncture protection casing for performance-oriented riders.

In addition to the robust construction, Continental has also developed an advanced new compound called PureGrip. Based on activated silica compounds, this technology was initially intended as a performance-level compound. After extensive research and development at the Korbach facility, the PureGrip compound was created, offering outstanding grip and cross-country properties.

This new rubber mix, aptly named "PureGrip," is ranked just behind the renowned BlackChili Compound and is being used in Continental's performance products for both road and mountain bike sectors. While providing excellent grip, the PureGrip compound is also long-lasting and highly durable, characteristics that are synonymous with Continental tires, which are exclusively manufactured in the factory in Hefei, Asia.

The Continental NyTechBreaker tire is available as a set of 2 folding tires, with a size of 700x28C (ETRTO 28-622). Weighing in at 335g, the tire can be inflated to a maximum pressure of 115 PSI and features a 3/180 TPI (Threads Per Inch) construction.
